LEMONADE STAND (2007)
In this one day summer fundraising event for Telic Arts Exchange, we set up a brightly colored stand in the middle of Chung King Road, a pedestrian street in Los Angeles’s Chinatown gallery district. From this Peanuts comic strip inspired structure, we sold $25 watercolors and mint lemonade. The watercolors combined early 20th Century citrus boosterism inspired imagery and cotemporary high tech advertising language.
